Golden Elevator Dream
Dream Notes of October 9th, 2016 8: 25 am. in Chicago
My sister and I went to some place that looked like amusement park. We were inside of the place and the first thing we saw was red and green water slide. Maybe it was because of the green slide’s reflection on water, the whole place looked green. We saw a golden wall with two circular doors. It looked like something we could ride like an elevator, but there was a number '500' written next to the coin entrance. We were confused whether it was 500 won (Korean currency worth: 5 cents) or 500 dollars, so we were hesitating to pay. Suddenly the elevator on the left opened and there was a woman sitting on the floor of an elevator looking frightened. The inside of elevator had wall that was all glass, so we could see the sky. She was a comedian in Korea. We tried to ask her if it was 500 won or 500 dollars, but she would not answer and keep pushing the close button. She looked very nervous and didn't like that the door was open. My sister and I assumed that it was 500 dollars for a ride, so she may not have wanted her expensive riding interrupted. Then a well-dressed old couple came by to ride the elevator. I told them not to have a ride because it would cost them 500 dollars. The old lady told me that, “For the better, you have to give something up.” Afterwards, she paid the price and happily rode the elevator with her husband.
